On Saturday, September 18 we convened all fellows of the Arkansas Teacher Corps for the first time of the 2021-2022 school year. The All-Corps event was 5 hours of professional development focused on building a collective experience for our fellows who have been virtual since February 2020.

Arkansas Teacher Corps is excited to announce two new hires for the 2021-22 school year! Whitney Carter and Jamie Powell were 2018 ATC Fellows and just completed the 3-year fellowship this past May. Both have worked with ATC in part-time roles supporting incoming first-year teachers at the summer institute. Their experiences as fellows will be an invaluable asset to ATC as we work to recruit, train, and retain an even larger cohort of teacher-fellows in the Arkansas Delta!
Ava Hollins-Rogers (ATC ’20), Darrah Maxfield (ATC ’19), Elizabeth Kuker (TFA '15), and Tory Cottle (TFA '15) will join returning mentor Jamie Powell (ATC ’18) in guiding new fellows through the seven-week virtual training in summer 2021.
