Grounding Ourselves

October can be a long month for teachers. There’s a transition from first quarter to second quarter and there are very few breaks built into the school calendar. it can feel like the days take excessively long and the weeks are flying. Grounding is a practice that can help you stay present and stay calm in the midst of what might feel like a chaotic moment. It’s a great technique to share with students as well.
