Arkansas Teacher Corps staff recently completed the selection process for our first application deadline of the year. For the Nov 1 expedited deadline, we received 20 applications, interviewed 13 applicants, and offered 9 fellowships. (By comparison, this time last year we received 18 applications, interviewed 10 applicants, and offered 4 fellowships.)
Congratulations to these individuals receiving a 2022 ATC Fellowship:
- Jasper Cortes, native of the Philippines; graduate of University of Bohol with a bachelor of science in psychology; graduate of University of Bohol with a master’s degree in public administration; currently working toward certification in middle school (4-8) science
- Marquita Holmes, native of Forrest City, AR; graduate of Alverno College with a bachelor of science in biology and a minor in elective studies; currently working toward certification in elementary (K-6) art
- Tyler Kee, native of Haskell, AR; graduate of University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a bachelor of science in geology; currently working toward certification in secondary (7-12) mathematics
- Vida May de Juan, native of the Philippines; graduate of University of the Philippines with a bachelor of arts in film and audio-visual communication; graduate of University of Bohol with a master of arts and a doctor of philosophy in educational management; currently working toward certification in middle school (4-8) English Language Arts
- Ivan Pacaldo, native of the Philippines; graduate of University of Bohol with a bachelor of science in hotel and restaurant management; currently working toward certification in middle school (4-8) science
