Holocaust Remembrance Day

Happy Tuesday Everyone,

Our quote this week is from Elie Wiesel — author, activist, Nobel Laurate, and Holocaust survivor — in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day which was yesterday, January 27th. Even if you missed the opportunity yesterday, I encourage you to spend some time browsing through the resources below for lessons and activities that you can incorporate into your teaching this week and throughout the year.

It is important, now more than ever, that our students who will be overcoming obstacles we don’t fully understand to build their futures have a solid understanding of the past including the way anti-semitism connects to some of the prejudice and oppression they may be more familiar with.

Stay Wonderful,
Donnalie
