Whitney Carter (ATC '18), Alex Garcia (ATC '18), Kendra Ide (ATC '16), and Bernard Smith (ATC '17) have been selected to serve as the directors of logistics, facilitation, coaching and equity, respectively, for the 2021 ATC Summer Institute. Applications for summer mentors are due Sunday, January 17.

Susie O'Neal, Ariana Rowles, Riley Tribble, and Erica Williams have been selected for ATC fellowships to teach 4-8 social studies, 7-12 ELA, 7-12 social studies, and 7-12 family/consumer science, respectively, in the Arkansas Delta. The next deadline for fellowship applications is January 1, 2021.
“Growing Where Needed: A Strategic Plan for 2020-2025” highlights nine main priorities that will allow us to double the number of fellows supported each year, ultimately reaching over 40,000 students and saving nearly $2,000,000 through increased efficiencies.
ATC has continued to grow but the fundamental need remains unmet. As we celebrate the coming of a new year, it is important that we take time to reflect on the past.
