Arkansas Teacher Corps recruitment manager Whitney Carter (ATC ’18) attended the Great Rivers Education Service Cooperative’s Career & Technical Education Showcase hosted by the Forrest City School District. Scholars from surrounding school districts showcased their skills, and local vendors highlighted jobs in the career & technical education field. FCSD superintendent Dr. Tiffany Hardrick and Forrest City mayor Larry Bryant helped welcome the students and staff members on hand from GREC’s 10 member school districts. During the showcase, Mayor Bryant also declared one week in the month of February as FBLA week. Congratulations to ATC fellow Debrah McGruder (ATC ’23) and the entire Forrest City FBLA chapter on this accomplishment!
