ATC Fellows Learn Skills, Deepen Content at 4th PD

On Saturday, April 13, Arkansas Teacher Corps fellows and staff met at Chicot Elementary in Little Rock for the fourth and final All Corps professional development of the 2023-24 year. We had so much fun while learning new skills, developing our content knowledge, and growing as professionals. Shout-out to Dan Matlock (ATC ’23), Devin Guillory (ATC ’21), LaMesha Mitchell (ATC ’22), and Lauren Brown (ATC ’23) for leading highly rated breakout sessions on engagement strategies, as well as our outstanding content leaders: Bernard Smith (ATC ’17, math), DaLecia Jones (ATC ’19, social studies), Freda Calloway (ATC ’20, ELA), Jazmin Berlanga-Medina (ATC ’18, science), Nneka Love (ATC ’19, elementary), Randi Sparks (ATC ’13, arts), and Tykesha Cross (ATC ’20, CTE)! Special shout-outs to ATC alumnus Arthurs Willis for stopping by and helping out when extra hands were needed and to Chicot Elementary for hosting us!
