ATC’s executive director Brandon Lucius and Reach University’s director of apprenticeship and technical assistance Dr. Kristen Nelson Weeden wrote an op-ed in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette about our programs’ grow-your-own pathways and other innovative strategies to address the teacher shortage in Arkansas. This op-ed was a follow-up to our presentation at the 2024 Southern Regional Education Board Making Schools Work Conference in Nashville, TN on July 11 where more than 3,000 educators from around the country came together to learn from each other and discover best practices.
