Arkansas Teacher Corps staff recently completed the selection process for our first application deadline of the year. For the Nov 1 expedited deadline, we received 66 applications, interviewed 30 applicants, and accepted 18 fellows. (By comparison, this time last year we received 33 applications, interviewed 19 applicants, and accepted 10 fellows.)

Congratulations to these individuals receiving a 2024 ATC Fellowship:

• Adrienne Durham, native of Jacksonville, AR; graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in addiction studies and counseling; graduate of Grand Canyon University with a master’s degree in teaching; employed by Jacksonville School District; currently working toward certification in elementary (K-6) education
• Brenda McNeary, native of Detroit, MI; graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in community development/public administration; graduate of  Arkansas State University with a master’s degree in public administration; currently working toward certification in art
