After a rigorous selection process, Arkansas Teacher Corps has finalized summer staff for the 2025 Institute, scheduled for June 1-July 11, 2025. Led by full-time ATC Director of Coaching Jamie Powell (mentors) and Director of Teacher Development Kendra Ide (facilitators), the summer staff work together to plan and execute the full six-week summer institute.
- Ava Hollins-Rogers (facilitator) is a 2020 ATC fellow and has taught elementary (K-6) education for six years. She is currently teaching 6th grade math at Maddux Elementary School in West Memphis. Ava also served as a summer facilitator in 2024, summer mentor in 2021, and content facilitator in 2024-25.
- Bailey Christ (mentor) is a 2024 ATC fellow and has taught elementary (K-6) education for three years. She is currently teaching 1st grade at Bobby G Lester Elementary School in Jacksonville.
- Chancy Ware (mentor) is a 2024 ATC fellow and has taught family and consumer science (FACS) education for two years. She is currently teaching FACS at Mineral Springs High School.
- Jasmaine Lowery (mentor) is a 2024 ATC fellow and has taught elementary (K-6) education for two years. She is currently teaching 1st grade at Earle Elementary.
- Lamario Bell (mentor) is a 2023 ATC fellow and has taught secondary (7-12) ELA and music for six years. He is currently teaching 5th-8th grade music at Osceola Middle School in Osceola. Dr. Bell also holds an Ed.D. in higher education administration. He also served as a summer mentor in 2024.
- Lamesha Mitchell (mentor) is a 2022 ATC fellow and has taught elementary (K-6) education for three years. She is currently teaching kindergarten at Murrell Taylor Elementary in Jacksonville. He also served as a summer mentor in 2024 and content facilitator in 2024-25.
- Marquita Holmes (mentor) is a 2022 ATC fellow and has taught elementary art for five years. She is currently teaching 3rd-5th grade art at Stewart Elementary in Forrest City. She also served as a summer mentor in 2024.
- Raven Hicks (mentor) is a 2024 ATC fellow and has taught middle school math and science for one year. She is currently teaching 5th grade math and science at Gardner-Strong Elementary School in Strong.
- Taylor Swygert (mentor) is a 2023 ATC fellow and has taught elementary (K-6) and middle school (4-8) education for four years. She is currently teaching 2nd grade at Carroll Smith Elem
- Tory Cottle (facilitator) is a 2015 Teach For America corps member and taught secondary (7-12) science for four years in Helena-West Helena. She is currently the Director of Instruction and Secondary Education at Memphis School of Excellence in Memphis, TN. Tory also served as a summer facilitator in 2024, summer mentor in 2021, and content facilitator in 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22.
