ATC executive director Brandon Lucius joined the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions’ “WE CARE-A-VAN” to Hope, Texarkana, and Mena in southwest Arkansas on March 14-15. Stops on the tour included visits to the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope-Texarkana, Sevier County Medical Center, and University of Arkansas Cossatot Community College. Lucius and IMPACT executive director Dr. John Bacon also led a roundtable discussion with Hope Public Schools superintendent Jonathan Crossley and other leaders, including Marilyn Marks, principal of Hope Academy of Public Service; Ashlea Stewart, principal of William Jefferson Clinton Primary; and Laura Gray, the district’s ESOL coordinator.
