Sarah coaches and supports teachers through classroom observations and debriefs, in addition to helping with designing and facilitating professional development. She is a native of Fayetteville, AR and earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Arkansas. Sarah was a 2014 Fellow and completed her educator certification for English 7-12 and Spanish K-12 through ATC. She lives in Pine Bluff where she taught three years at Dollarway High School. In addition to teaching English and Spanish in grades 8-12, she also sponsored the DHS yearbook, served on both the school and district leadership teams, and raised funds for 25 high-quality Spanish-English dictionaries and 10 Chromebooks for her classroom. As an ATC alumna and two-time Summer Institute Mentor, Sarah brings an unique experience and perspective to the Teacher Development Team.
