Kendra Ide

Kendra plans and leads ATC’s professional development, in addition to supporting the team with summer institute, coaching, and fellow licensure. She is a native of Zeeland, MI and earned her bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in religion at Hendrix College in Conway, AR. Kendra was a 2016 Fellow and completed her educator certification for English 7-12 through ATC. She lives in Forrest City where she taught 10-12th ELA, 10th/12th Pre-AP ELA, AP Literature and Composition, AP Language, and Creative Writing.at Forrest City High School. During her time at FCHS, Kendra also served as the chair of the English department and member of the Leadership Team. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with an M.Ed. in adult learning in 2023. Kendra brings an unique experience and perspective to the Teacher Development Team as an ATC alumna, two-time ATC summer institute mentor, and former ATC teacher development manager.
